In honor of Jillienne Whitley, a dedicated past employee of the Coweta Community Foundation and an unwavering advocate for nonprofits in Coweta, a fund has been established through the Foundation to support her family during this challenging time. Jill has been described by a former colleague as “a joyful noise.” She is feisty, funny, and fiercely devoted to her children, Millie (12) and Henry (17). Her generosity and resilience have touched countless lives, and now she needs the support of the community she has championed. On January 23, Jill was admitted to Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital following a fall, which was later determined to be a symptom of severe liver and kidney failure. She is currently on a ventilator and dialysis as her medical team works tirelessly to stabilize her condition. Plans to transfer her to Emory Midtown for specialized care are pending the availability of a bed. During this time, Jill’s focus must remain on healing. However, with her paid leave exhausted and short-term disability still awaiting approval, the immediate needs of her family have become a priority. This fund has been created to ensure that Millie and Henry are fully supported, both emotionally and financially. Henry is preparing to start his college journey at Georgia Southern this fall, and Millie’s love of books (the creepier, the better) is a joy Jill always nurtured. If you are moved to help, contributions to this fund will go directly toward meeting the family’s needs and easing their financial burden. Additionally, we ask for your prayers, love, and support during this incredibly difficult time. Jill has given so much to this community; now, it is our turn to give back to her and her family. In honor of Wallace Rehner Bell, beloved son of Connor and Karolyne Bell and brother of Sophia Bell, a dedicated fund has been established to support the Bell family during this unthinkable time. This fund has been created to ensure that Connor, Karolyne, and Sophia are fully supported in the wake of this tragic loss. Contributions to the fund will go directly toward meeting the family’s needs and easing their financial burden, with any remainder funds to be allocated to the assistance of our community’s children in little Wally’s honor. The Bells have been a blessing to Newnan First United Methodist Church and the broader Newnan community, and we are privileged with the responsibility of supporting them as the hands and feet of Christ our risen Savior. Please pray that God heal their broken hearts and let little Wally’s memory be a blessing until we are reunited with him in joyful resurrection.

100 Women Who Care Coweta County is a group of women who will gather four times a year for a one-hour meeting to learn about local charities and donate $100 each quarter to a charitable cause selected by the group. This combined donation each quarter will make a significant difference in Coweta County without time-consuming fundraising events and planning.

The Community Talent and Leadership development fund is aimed at providing education and tools for individuals to expand their job and leadership skills. The goal is to match the skills employers are seeking with the talent pipeline to ensure strong employment opportunities for our community.

A local group helping local people undergoing treatment for all types of cancer. We offer assistance with electricity bills for up to three months. We serve individuals in Fayette and Coweta counties ! Since our existence in 2006 we have served over 175 families locally .

This fund was established to build Senoia Coweta Street Park in Senoia Georgia.

he Joseph Clay Sherwood Memorial Scholarship Fund, established in honor of Joseph Sherwood, awards scholarships annually to Coweta students, including providing a scholarship to Arnall Middle School 8th graders who receive the Noble Knight Award.
